With Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’ recent order to close all schools in Wisconsin until at least April 6th due to efforts to control the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, the situation for our school, families and community has changed. A significant portion of our families will be adversely impacted by the closure of our school and other community services, and we are obligated to demonstrate our strongest leadership to help them at this time.
Please see the communication we sent to our families on March 13, 2020 by clicking here. In addition to ensuring there is a strong education strategy for our children, we are surveying and assessing the individual financial, employment, health and child-care needs of our families one-by-one.
Whether it’s their ability to purchase food and basic supplies, pay rent and/or unexpected childcare costs, stabilize their families through a loss of employment or a reduction of work hours due to their employer closing or reducing their workforce and expenses, our families need our help.
