As a public charter school authorized by the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents and supported by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, our school is tuition-free.
Attendance Boundary: Additionally, any family residing anywhere in Wisconsin with children age 4 years old and up by September 1 each school year can enroll in One City Schools.
Our formal enrollment period for the 2026-27 school year will begin on March 1st, 2026 at 8 am and end March 31st, 2025 at 5 pm.
Pre-enrollment applications and intent to return forms will be accepted for all grades from 4k through 8th.
Once the enrollment period begins, you will be able to complete the online pre-enrollment application for your child(ren).
Once the formal enrollment period has ended on March 31st, 2026 at 5 p.m CST, any pre-enrollment applications received for a class with more applications than available seats will enter a lottery to be held the same day.
Families in the lottery will receive follow-up information via email by Friday, April 3rd regarding their child’s acceptance into One City Schools.
Once initially accepted, families will have until Apr 17, 2025 at 5:00P CST to submit comprehensive enrollment information through our online system. On-site help will be available by appointment for families needing technology assistance or interpreters.
All children not selected will be placed on our wait list in the order that their name was drawn in the lottery. Parents will have the option of whether or not to place their children on the waitlist.
If applicable, waitlist applicants will begin to be notified on April 3rd and will continue to enroll until classes are full or by October 31st, 2026, whichever occurs first.

A student is not considered officially enrolled until all required forms are fully completed, submitted, and verified.
After submitting your registration forms, new families must present an original document of the student’s birth certificate in person.
