I came to teaching as a second career, after more than a decade as a scientist. My goal is for students to leave my classroom as confident, critical thinkers who ask questions, take risks with their learning, and don't settle for easy answers. Every student should have access to nature, and I look for ways to bring learning outdoors. When I'm not at school, that's where you'll find me too.
