Lucas Dronzek

Lead Teacher

Hello, my name is Lucas Dronzek. I am excited to be the Lead Teacher in our 4K Gold classroom. I graduated from Beloit College in 2015 with a bachelors in Psychology and minors in English and Philosophy. After graduating, I got a job working at IDS with children who had Autism. It was there where I discovered that idea play is the work of children, since then I have developed a focus on how to use play to teach. I spent the next three years working with children and young adults on the spectrum, working at KGH and getting certified as a Registered Behavioral Technician.

My time working with kids who have developmental disorders taught me how important every little step forward is and how to teach kids with different learning styles. I enjoy creating a bond with the children I work with, and sharing and celebrating wonderful classroom moments with their families!

I have worked at the Little Sprouts daycare as an assistant teacher and then at the Little Chicks Learning Academy as a lead teacher. At the daycares I worked with children from 3 months of age, to 5 years old. These experiences continued to reinforce my passion for teaching and helping children reach their full potential!

I enjoy the challenge their curiosity and energy brings. I have experience teaching reading, math, social skills, writing, gross and fine motor skills to young children in a classroom setting. I am excited to share my joy of learning and discovery with the kids!
