Pamela Ferrill has been promoted to the position of Director of Teaching and Learning for One City Elementary School. She will assume this new role on Monday, May 10, 2021 and will continue to report directly to One City’s Elementary School Principal, Faren D’Abell. In her new role, Pamela will continue to drive educational excellence through leading and guiding all teaching and learning activities at One City Elementary School, ensuring that our teachers and staff are well prepared to deliver an exceptional instructional experience for our scholars, and that One City Elementary achieves its organizational, instructional and student learning goals and objectives.
Prior to One City, Pamela served as a New Educator Instructional Mentor for the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD). Prior to that, she served as an elementary school principal in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, as an instructional coach, Title 1 school-wide facilitator, reading interventionist, Talented and Gifted resource teacher, and Read 180 teacher leader with MMSD.
Pamela holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary and middle school education, and master’s degree in educational leadership from Edgewood College. She is currently completing her doctorate in educational leadership at Edgewood College, and will earn her EdD in May 2022.
