Christine Hodge

Leadership Coach

Ms. Christine Hodge joined One City Schools as a substitute principal in March 2019. She began teaching in the Madison Metropolitan School District in 1971 after she and her children relocated to Madison from Arkansas.

She taught in MMSD for 26 years before moving into school leadership roles as assistant principal at La Follette High School and principal at Frank Allis Elementary on Madison's East Side. She retired from MMSD in 2007 and turned her attention to creating and leading a highly effective after-school Academic Learning Center at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Madison.

Ms. Hodge holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her Principal Certification and Director of Instruction License at Edgewood College in Madison.

She has three adult children and continues to reside in Madison.
